Here are a few of our favorite images from the wedding of Guðrið & Regin. Guðrið is a great Faroese musician. Make sure to visit Guðrið (http://www.myspace.com/gudridhansdottir) myspace profile to hear her beautiful music. Regin is a young entrepreneur who already has had great success with his ideas. But that’s not all there is to him. Regin is also very active in politics on the Faroes.

We read about Regin´s proposal in one of the local news papers and were very pleased when they decided to ask us to photograph their wedding. Guðrið looked stunning in the 70s inspired dress that she bought in Texas when she was on tour.
The dress, same as the couple, was very original and that is something I love to work with. Every costumer is his own person and has his own personality and style, and it is then my job to give it my all to make that originality come to life in the pictures as well.
Originality that is truly original is something every photographer in his or her right mind loves :)

Here are a few of our favorite images of a photo shoot we did for a Hair salon in Tórshavn.

Today we got some time away from our retouching for about two hours. It was great to get out and shoot again and I just wanted to share two of the photos. These two photos are of Ragnhild who was confirmed earlier today in Vágar. Enjoy.

This beautiful couple is Rebekka & Símun Petur. Rebekka and I have been classmates for many years. We were photographing the ceremony and thereafter we went outside to get some creative shots. Later that night we had the honor to attend the wedding as guests.

Símun Petur is a cook and their chosen cook for the wedding was Leif Sørensen. As we have written earlier about Leif, he brings cooking to another level. Every single dish he serves is a piece of art and the food he serves is awesome.

It was terribly cold when we took the wedding photos but they had decided to get photos on an outside location and even though they where freezing we where able to photograph them outside for about 30 minutes or so.

The nature in the Faroe Island is spectacular and with the light as special as it was this day the end result turned out fantastic.

Rebekka & Símun Petur thanks for a great day and thanks for being willing to experiencing the coldest day on your Big day in order to get the wedding photos of your life. You are both very beautiful people on the inside and out. God bless your future together.

Last week we were part of a wedding show in SMS, the biggest shopping center, in the Faroe Islands. Until last week we have only worked through the internet, but last week peoplefinally got a chance to see our work on print. The response was amazing and we got the chance to meet a lot of new people that had interest in our work.

Here are some photos of our stand and to add something extra to the stand we were allowed by a local furniture shop Eikin, to use the very special purple “Poeten Sofa” designed by Finn Juhl, the Danish designer back in 1941. The retail price for the sofa in England is £5,767.

On the wedding show two of our images were used by The Body Shop to show as an example of how beautifully they can apply makeup on brides, and on saturday the biggest national newspaper published a wedding magazine with our photo on the front-page. All things considered this has been a great week for us :)

The last photo is the child of one of our best friends. Isn’t she adorable!?

Here are some of our favorite photos from the wedding of Ann Kristina & Bergar. We had photographed one of their friend´s wedding and after seeing the images and the album they booked us to photograph their wedding.
They are an amazing couple and we enjoyed spending time with them and love the result of the images.
